Country View Quilting offers Long Arm Quilting Services on Gammill with Statler and Gammill with Ascend Quilting Machines. The 30" throat space and 14' professional table allow for those large King quilts to be easily quilted. Our 'Pano' or Edge to Edge pattern library has hundreds of patterns and is constantly being updated to include new patterns.
In addition to Long Arm Quilting, many other services are available including prepping backing, binding, attaching labels and quilt sleeves, and constructing memory, T-shirt, and custom quilt creations. I have some talented gals that are happy to piece that special quilt top for you!
Fabrics, Wide Backing, Threads, Notions and various Batting are available from our online shop.
Custom and Heirloom quilting is available as well. An appointment with a personal consultation is Required for each custom and heirloom quilt.
Stephanie is a Sales Representative for Gammill. Contact Stephanie about the Vision, Elevate, Statler or Ascend.
Stephanie's sewing experience began at a young age. She was involved with the 4-H program, then asked to help with a summer school sewing class during her Jr. High years. During high school, she worked at a local fabric shop and created display garments. Over the years, she has sewn anything from formal wear, created her own wedding gown and bridal party dresses, window coverings and decorator accessories, dance costumes, and clothing alterations and even re-upholstered tractor seats. She pieced her first quilt top while in jr. high using a cardboard template that she created from a cereal box. She has never kept track of the numerous quilts that she has made, sending many of her first quilts off to be hand-quilted, then later machine quilted.
In late 2005, she purchased a domestic mid-arm for her own projects. Once word spread that she had a quilting machine, she found herself busy and researched industrial Long Arm Quilting machines before purchasing her Gammill Optimum with Statler in 2009. "I just LOVE my Statler!" In 2013, Stephanie quilted the Nebraska State Quilt Guild's raffle quilt.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Business Administration. She is also an alumni of NE LEAD XXIII, a two year Ag related leadership course through the University of Nebraska Lincoln's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
In 1998, Stephanie set up JBK Enterprises, LLC to operate Soy Candle. She, along with her husband Dean, created a Soybean Candle to add value to soybeans, one of several crops grown on their family farm. She later sold Soy Candle, focusing strictly on her love of fabrics and quilting. She now runs Country View Quilting from their farm Northwest of Osmond, NE.
Stephanie is a sales representative for Gammill. She also offers private education and training on the Gammill Statler and Ascend; as well as Creative Studio.
